I stayed one night at the luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bruges. It is located at the Burg square in the center, so the perfect place to start exploring!
The hotel experience
The hotel is renovated a while ago so it looks fresh and clean. It has a big reception room and 2 elevators so you never have to wait too long. It offers free wifi in all the rooms which works perfectly and you don’t need to go through the hassle of logging in.
You can swim at the indoor pool or work out at the fitness center. There’s also a sauna available. In the room you’ll find bath robes but no slippers, which was a pitty, because we had to run on our socks through the hallway to go to the pool.
The hotel also offers a Sleep Advantage Program with premium bedding, aromatherapy, and Quiet Zone floors (it really was quiet there).
The room
I immediately fell in love with the room. It was spacious for a city center hotel and the interior had warm soft colors. The double bed was big enough for 2 persons to sleep in without bumping into each other at night (which is great if you’re used to sleeping alone). It had a small seating space, a desk, a mini bar, a giant flatscreen TV and 2 closets.
A water boiler was available to make your own tea or coffee in the morning and there were plenty of plugs (even for USB).
The bathroom was practical with a rain shower, a hair dryer and some nice smelling seaweed products.
I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. Thanks to the magazine Flair which regularly offers coupons, I only had to pay 35€ per person per night in stead of 67,5€ (the room is 135€ per night).
If you like some luxury and relaxing during your stay in Bruges I definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza Hotel!
