I visited the Real Alcazar in Sevilla for the second time last Summer and I couldn’t be happier! It is the oldest royal palace that is still in use in Europe and truly one of the prettiest palaces I’ve ever seen. If I ever get rich, I would like to have the same mosaic tiled walls and decorated doorways. I simply adore the Mudejar architectural style!
This time the waiting line was a bit longer and it took a little more effort to take pictures without people in them, but I still enjoyed my visit and admired every single detail. The Patio de las Doncellas and the Hall of the Ambassadors still are my favorite parts and I spend hours exploring the palace and its gardens, which are used in Game of Thrones as the Water Gardens of Dorne by the way!
I love The Patio de las Doncellas because of the long pool surrounded by sunken gardens and magnificent arches. The Hall of the Ambassadors stands out with its golden dome representing heaven, simply spectacular!
Again I took hundreds of pictures during my visit and of course I would like to share them with you.

In Summer it’s over 40 degrees so it’s always very hot…
