Last weekend I visited the Spa-Francorchamps race track to enjoy the Spa-Classic event. Spa-Francorchamps is still the most beautiful race circuit in the world. The view of historic race cars rushing the most feared corner called Raidillon makes it even more impressive.
Spa-Classic: the largest rally of historic race cars
Even though I don’t know that much about cars, I still think it’s a wonderful experience visiting the circuit. I love the sound of the roaring engines when the race cars pass by on the track. You can walk along the complete circuit so you can enjoy the race from different angles.
The Spa-Classic event is organized by the same team that is responsible for the Le Mans Classic. You can enjoy food stands, shop accessories, visit the paddock and get a closer look at the cars and enjoy different races such as:
– Classic Endurance Racing: Prototypes and GT’s that have raced in the greatest endurance races in the world between 1966 and 1979
– Group C Racing: Cars that have competed in famous endurance races between 1983 & 1991.
– Trofeo Nastro Rosso: A series of races dedicated to beautiful Italian sports cars and GT’s built before 1966.
