It’s not a secret Dubrovnik is an important filming location for Game of Thrones, one of the biggest TV series ever made. These days tourists from all over the world are coming to Dubrovnik, trying to find all the spots that were used as a decor for the series’ scenes. Many tour operators offer guided Game of Thrones tours, but if you do a little research, it’s quite easy to find these locations by yourself. At least that’s what I’ve done and it spared me a lot of money! These are the locations I found while wandering around Dubrovnik!
The ultimate quick guide to Šibenik
Šibenik, the oldest Croatian city on the Adriatic coast, was added to my Croatia itinerary because it’s only half an hour from the Krka NP and it was also used in Game of Thrones as the decor for Braavos. Even though Šibenik has a rich culture and a great location (between the popular cities of Zadar & Split), it’s not crowded with tourists.
