Bepa! is a fantastic and unique restaurant situated within the old city walls of Split in Croatia. I was super excited finding it at the beautiful town square Narodni trg. Bepa! distinguishes itself by the different look of its terrace, its menu and the way the food is prepared and served.
What makes Bepa! a unique restaurant?
The decor
The terrace which is situated on the beautiful Narodni trg, consists of cute white wooden tables with little drawers and pastel blue colored chairs. On each table lies a menu attached to a cutting board. The windows are covered with snippets of the menu or quotes about food, painted in white.
The food & drinks
As soon as you take a look at the menu, you know this isn’t just another restaurant. Each dish is made from scratch with the most fresh ingredients. It are often traditional Dalmatian meals with a twist to it. For example; have you ever heard of Matcha Tiramisu (an oriental version)?
You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The desserts are to die for (Try La Bombaaaaa if you’re a chocolate lover) and don’t even get me started about the homemade drinks. The strawberry lemonade is soooooo good! Other dishes I tried are the Croatian fish & chips and the vegetarian pasta. Everything is served on beautiful plates or in polkadot pottery.
The people working here are super nice and service is quick. Prices are rather cheap, so it’s not only delicious but also very affordable! (desserts vary from 25KN to 30KN (3.4€ – 4€)
If you’re looking for a fantastic and unique restaurant: find Bepa! at Narodni trg 1 in Split.
