Welp, the perfect lunch spot while shopping in Eindhoven

Eindhoven isn’t pretty and charming like Amsterdam but it’s a fun city to go shopping. When I go shopping with my friends I love to have an extensive lunch. I found the perfect restaurant to do this named Welp at the “Bergen”. This area is famous for its diverse restaurants and little book, art and antique stores.

Welp is a trendy, cosy restaurant with a vintage look. Inside I got the feeling being at one of the restaurants at Portobello Road in London. It has a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. I loved the round leather benches that are very comfortable to sit on at the round tables. Perfect to be able to have a conversation with every person at the table.

The menu has the original look of a magazine and is filled with delicious local and internatonal dishes. I had the shrimp croquettes with fries and cocktail sauce and for dessert I had the marinated pineapple with vanilla cream and pistachio espuma. Both were incredibly yummie.

I really recommend this place when visiting Eindhoven. It’s the kind of no nonsense place where you can just enter and take a seat without having to make reservations.
